I am a beginner at Pokémon battles myself. I created POKERATEGY to help with the parts I found difficult.
POKERATEGY is not about finding the strongest possible team or the optimal lineup for a top tournament finish. Its aim is to help beginner and intermediate players get into battles with their favorite Pokémon.
Why I made it
Team building is often the first hurdle when you start battling. Type matchups, roles, movesets, held items—there is a lot to think about before you can even get started.
POKERATEGY keeps the process simple: choose one Pokémon you like, and AI selects the other five to suggest a complete team. Let AI handle the difficult parts so you can start by battling with your favorite Pokémon.
What POKERATEGY can do

The other five Pokémon are chosen to support your ace, accounting for shared weaknesses and the balance of offense and defense. The aim is a team that works together, rather than a collection of Pokémon that simply look strong.

Learn how to use each Pokémon
Each Pokémon's role is explained through its held item, moves, and approach to battle, so you have a starting point even when using it for the first time.
